Haven't written a proper entry for a long long time...

Let's keep it that way. Ha ha.

What am I doing these days? Grading, grading, and grading. I hate grading.

When Friedman said that "there is no free lunch in this world," he certainly had not been to Kellogg.

I love free lunch.

The most successful Harvard's dropout

I guess many of you know that Bill Gates is a Harvard dropout. But I guess not many of you know that he is retiring from being Microsoft boss (and handing over his throne to Steve Ballmer, a guy somehow that I don't like,  and whom I have a feeling that will bring Microsoft down.). Recently, Harvard awarded him a honorary degree and the speech he gave for his comencement has some interesting lines:

Ie been waiting more than 30 years to say this: ad, I always told you I come back and get my degree.?

I want to thank Harvard for this timely honor. Il be changing my job next year ?and it will be nice to finally have a college degree on my resume.

I applaud the graduates today for taking a much more direct route to your degrees. For my part, I just happy that the Crimson has called me arvard most successful dropout.?I guess that makes me valedictorian of my own special class ?I did the best of everyone who failed.

But I also want to be recognized as the guy who got Steve Ballmer to drop out of business school. I a bad influence. That why I was invited to speak at your graduation. If I had spoken at your orientation, fewer of you might be here today.
